With the continuing negativity about vaccine side effects and propaganda campaigns promoting exaggerated concerns about how they might be manipulating or even harming people, little attention has been given to showing the data supporting the benefit in lives saved. Can you please tell us how many lives have actually been saved by the vaccines over the past two years, since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic?

The World Health Organization reported that their estimates of the Covid-19 death toll from the first two years of the pandemic were 15 million deaths, much higher than the 6 million casualties reported by individual countries. This includes some non-Covid deaths known to be indirectly related to the pandemic impact on health care, but the majority are Covid-19 fatalities. Is that total fairly accurate or an exaggeration?

It was just on the news that critics are calling out the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for withholding much data from the public about the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes data showing that natural immunity is protective, there is a low benefit for young adults 18-49 from the booster shot, the true low risk of COVID in children, occurrence of breakthrough infection in vaccinated people, and hospitalization data broken down by vaccination status that would show the percentage of vaccinated people not protected from infection. All are findings that question the need and wisdom of a vaccine mandate for everyone. The CDC offered the excuse that the public is simply unable to understand the data. Is that the whole story?
