The 1938 radio broadcast of “War of the Worlds” based on the book written in 1898 by H.G. Wells, was taken by many to be real and caused widespread panic. Was this a divinely guided early warning of the future potential for a closely corresponding annihilation of humanity? Or was the somewhat reckless radio broadcast of the story as though it were really happening, perhaps a clever disinformation campaign to cause intuitives foreseeing the possibility of alien attack, to be dismissed as having over-active imaginations inspired by the entertainment media?
