There aren’t any obvious dog toxic additives on the label. I understand that dogs naturally synthesize vitamin C in their liver, unlike humans, and that oral vitamin C is generally well tolerated in dogs, but very high doses can cause diarrhea or gastrointestinal upset. Given this product has a serving size of 2 ml (40 drops) and vitamin C per serving of 2,000 mg, would 5 drops (0.25–0.28 ml of 1:1 diluted solution ≈140 mg vitamin C), be safe and effective for a dog of 7kg?”
