A viewer asks: “Some physicians deem that plantar fasciitis is a mechanical problem from the toe box being constricted from a person wearing improper shoes. This constriction reduces circulation to the foot where degradation of the tissue happens which causes heel pain. Others say it’s too much pressure on the heel from overuse, being overweight, or improper shoe arch which causes inflammation and thus heel pain. This is a problem I’ve suffered for years. Is this condition caused by a virus or something else?”
