The Editor of Harriet Shelton’s book, Abraham Lincoln Returns, summarized the dilemma we are learning about here. “… What we do on Earth has a direct bearing on our life beyond. It is this belief that can provide the pragmatic with a convincing reason for adopting the ‘impractical’ virtues, and imbue the reckless with the restraining fear of inescapable justice. Our author (Harriet Shelton) tells us that among the departed are those who, having no understanding or preparation for the afterlife, find it hard to adjust themselves. The pity is that during their earth-life they clung to disbelief, insisting upon material proof of those things which are by nature the direct opposite.” What is Creator’s perspective?

Harriet Shelton, in her book, described one morning when, during her Quiet Time, she saw for the first time those to whom she was speaking (channeling Abraham Lincoln) for. She had just finished the Lord’s Prayer, relaxed and waited for the signal from Lincoln when, Harriet describes, “Suddenly as if a curtain had been drawn aside, I was no longer sitting in a room, but I appeared to be in the middle of a vast plain. I could see gray forms standing as if in a light fog. There must have been thousands of them, and I immediately felt a deep sense of depression which pervaded the place, truly a place of shadows, as I came to call it. … For several mornings afterward I saw the tragic picture, the gray forms stretching away into the distance as far as my sight could reach. Gradually it faded out, but it made an impression upon my mind which I shall never forget. It was probably the most helpful thing that could have happened to me. I no longer doubt nor question, for I have seen and I now know the truth.” Is this ‘vast plain’ Harriet saw the realm of ‘outer darkness’ and did she feel the same deep sense of depression that William Shatner felt? In this episode we have learned about some of the difficulties that advanced spirits, ‘the light callers,’ struggle with in trying to get through to earthbound, lost soul spirits as Creator describes them. We have learned about some extraordinary undertakings and collaborations pursued in efforts to get through to, awaken, and rescue these lost soul spirits. The problems are many, and the difficulties extreme, but one of the most obvious is the glaring inability to SCALE these efforts. Mrs. Wickland and Harriet Shelton are extraordinarily RARE resources available to the light callers to assist in their rescue activities. This extreme shortage of helpful human mediums is, in fact, frequently bemoaned in many channelings by advanced spirits. It’s almost as if THEY feel more helpless than WE do! Can Creator tell us how Empowered Prayer, the Lightworker Healing Protocol, Deep Subconscious Mind Reset, and Divine Life Support alter this paradigm? James gives us an interesting example to examine: “Picture, if you will, the situation of one whom we will call John Jones because that is not his real name. John Jones lived a sordid life. His main interests were the attainment of money and the spending of it on himself. He was not always honest, although he could hardly be called a criminal type. He was successful in his business dealings and at the time of his death was a wealthy man. He was also an uninformed man who did not believe in anything except the power of money and his ability to make it. … His relatives who had died had long ago given him up as one they could not influence for the better, and so they made no effort to stay with him and help him (as spirit guides and guardians). When this man died suddenly of a heart attack, no one was there to receive him. I (the deceased/spirit James) heard of his death, and, having known him briefly in life, I decided to try and make his entry into the new phase of his existence as comfortable as possible. I went to greet him. … I walked up to him and he saw me and gave me a perfunctory greeting. Then he lost interest in me immediately. He was puzzled because that body on the bed looked like him, yet he was standing there feeling better than he had in years, if a bit hazy of mind because of his abrupt demise. I told him he’d had a sudden heart attack and died. He paid absolutely no attention. I repeated this several times, but he did not listen. Then finally he said, ‘Look friend, I’m having a crazy dream. I know exactly what is going on, so please stop bothering me. James continues with his example of John Jones: “I gave up trying to impress him with the truth of his situation and merely stood by and watched as he went through his days. … Once in a while Jones looked at me and said, ‘This is a really weird dream. I wish I could wake up.’ Even after he had watched his own burial, however, he did not accept the fact he was dead. The day after his funeral Jones went to the stock exchange and stayed, as his wont, watching the rise and fall of stocks as avidly as he had ever done. This went on day after day. Death has to be so different from life that this could not be death, and so he must be dreaming. This is the only explanation he would consider. They were sure their hunches and their knowledge of their professions were sufficient to account for their every instinctive move of buying and selling. And if a former associate had spiritual protection against such interference from the earthbound dead like Jones, how would that have appeared to Jones? Or would such protection be invisible to Jones as well, given the non-spiritually progressive state he was in? What can Creator tell us?

It doesn’t appear Jones had a problem “seeing the light callers,” as wasn’t James himself playing the role of light caller? What can Creator tell us?
