I was still not sure that I was not in dire trouble but I didn’t feel faint so I didn’t call for help (I live alone except for my dogs and the tenants in my building) and played it minute by minute. I iced the injured area and rested all day, and the next day went to see my chiropractor. He said three vertebrae were displaced and he put them back. He also speculated that perhaps I had a bruised kidney and suggested x-rays. I arranged for that over the coming days but everything was fine.
