The story is, that you cannot get too close to these “sleeping giants” or your mind would melt due to the intensity and potency of the brain waves emanating from the giant. Is this where the term “sleeping giants” originates? One story this researcher heard was about an explorer who was led to a cave in Tibet by a monk, which was occupied by a giant in stasis. The monk warned the explorer not to cross a line on the floor, or his mind would be destroyed. The explorer thought the monk was joking and crossed the line, and immediately felt intense pain in his head. The monk pulled him back to safety. Are these stories true? Are these “sleeping giants” in some kind of time bubble? What is the purpose for this, if true?
