The US military conducted a surprise strike at a military base in Venezuela where President Maduro was housed. He and his wife were taken prisoner and transported to New York where Maduro appeared in court, charged with narco-trafficking. There has been much international consternation about the legality of this intrusion. In addition, it is shaking up geopolitical forces as the US now controls the Venezuelan oil supply and is denying sales to Russia and China. Was this move just a law enforcement operation to stop drug smuggling harmful to US citizens, as the US maintains, or is it serving deeper, more sinister motives of the interlopers?

Who or what agency was behind the recent sabotage of a power station in Venezuela, causing energy shortages in an already troubled country where people are struggling to survive extreme poverty and social unrest? Was the Mercenary Army Program involved in causing the explosion there?
