A news story states: “Tech billionaire Bill Gates’s recent blog post stating that the ‘doomsday view’ of environmental and social catastrophe from global warming is wrong, appears to mark a significant shift in the debate over climate change. While reiterating the orthodoxy that climate change will have ‘serious consequences’ and will hurt poor people the most, Gates goes on to say that ‘it will not lead to humanity’s demise.’ ‘People will be able to live and thrive in most places on Earth for the foreseeable future,’ he said. Written as a message to attendees of the U.N. Climate Change Conference in Brazil, which begins on Nov. 10, Gates’s op-ed states that the biggest problems the world faces are poverty and disease, not rising temperatures. In a recent episode of Get Wisdom Live titled “Creator Discusses Extreme Human Vulnerability to Authority,” we recounted documented studies of mock prisons, showing college students randomly assigned to be guards or prisoners were surprisingly willing to act like perpetrators or passive victims. I just read a story in a recent issue of The New Yorker about the problem of mentally ill people who end up in jail starving to death. Is the extreme neglect that represents, a result of manipulation of law enforcement personnel by the interlopers to not only become insensitive to the needs of the incarcerated but actively apply policies to enhance their suffering?

Observers saw a subsequent 22 million dollar Bitcoin payment to a blockchain ledger associated with that group of hackers, so it appears a ransom was paid. Were they the true culprits? We saw an announcement saying: “Change Healthcare, an affiliate of Optum and UnitedHealthcare, experienced a cyberattack last week. This is significant because Change operates the nation’s largest medical electronic data interchange (or EDI), a network that allows for the transmission of claims data back and forth between insurance companies and hospitals, pharmacies, doctors’ offices and other healthcare providers seeking payment for their services. Among the types of transactions processed daily through Change are patient eligibility verification, clinical pre-authorizations, claims submissions, and payments to providers for services rendered. Change is a vital link between providers and insurers, processing more than 15 billion healthcare transactions annually. In 2022, the U.S. Department of Justice noted that over 50% of all U.S. medical claims pass through or touch Change’s EDI clearinghouse, and we suspect that number has only increased since then.” Is this just a human malicious attack, or is it related to the plan of the interlopers to weaken us by disrupting our technology?
