The Director of Department of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, just announced that government records were turned over to the Justice Department for investigation because they describe a White House meeting on Dec. 9, 2016, by then lame-duck President Barack Obama, in which he directed that a revised intelligence estimate be generated alleging Russian hacking of the presidential election to rig it in favor of Donald Trump. She said: “There is irrefutable evidence that details how President Barack Obama and his national security team directed the creation of an intelligence community assessment that they knew that was false.” The records show that prior intelligence estimates had said no evidence was found of any cyberattacks or tampering with voting had occurred by Russia in the 2016 presidential election. If true, this would seem to represent a malicious and cynical perversion of our democracy for political gain from hampering the newly elected Republican president. The Watergate scandal got President Nixon to resign for conspiring with a group of rogue former CIA operatives to bug a telephone at the Democrat campaign headquarters. Here we have President Obama commandeering federal intelligence and law enforcement agencies, including the CIA, DNI, NSA, FBI, and DOJ to spy on and undermine a newly elected Republican administration with investigations now spanning 10 years. If true, this is breathtaking in its scope and daring. Was this more than “politics” but rather an orchestrated series of mind control manipulations to tar everyone involved?

I am concerned about recommending people take 12 mg of ivermectin daily for 3 weeks (along with hydroxychloroquine). Was I over-influenced by having that interchange with [Name Withheld] about “his protocol” to believe that giving both compounds would effect a viral cleanout? Was this a lesson to me about being more thorough, knowing as I investigated the literature about appropriate doses of ivermectin I would see the pharmacokinetic data, revealing the inability of oral administration to reach antiviral concentrations? What is most important for me to know?

Recommending use of ivermectin in a way that is not even scientifically supportable seems like a big risk, even if you say it will work. What am I missing? How can high protein binding not be a hindrance to achieving a therapeutic exposure to free drug? Is there a scientific phenomenon here not yet scientifically understood or appreciated, at least not be me? Can you give us a tutorial to explain your continued endorsement and value of ivermectin, in addition to hydroxychloroquine which has demonstrated in vivo efficacy as an antiviral?

A news report states: “Fuel control switches for the engines of an Air India flight that crashed last month were moved from the ‘run’ to the ‘cutoff’ position moments before impact, starving both engines of fuel, a preliminary investigation report said early Saturday. The report, issued by India’s Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau, also indicated that both pilots were confused over the change to the switch setting, which caused a loss of engine thrust shortly after takeoff. The Air India flight—a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner—crashed on June 12 and killed at least 260 people, including 19 on the ground, in the northwestern city of Ahmedabad. Only one passenger survived the crash, which is one of India’s worst aviation disasters… Aviation expert and former airline pilot Terry Tozer said the engine cutoff switches being switched to off only seconds after takeoff was ‘absolutely bizarre. Unfortunately, the altitude was so low that the engines were only beginning to recover and they didn’t have enough time,’ Tozer told Sky News. The report also indicated confusion in the cockpit moments before the crash. In the flight’s final moment, one pilot was heard on the cockpit voice recorder asking the other why he cut off the fuel. ‘The other pilot responded that he did not do so,’ the report said.” Who turned off the flow of fuel to the engines and why?
