A viewer asks: “Recently a young adult female elephant gored a senior keeper at an African elephant orphanage which led to the death of the much loved 70 year old father of eight. The elephant was out browsing with its herd when it uprooted a tree thus blocking a dirt road. As members of staff started to clear up the branches, it turned on the senior keeper and gored him. The man died of his wounds later, much to the dismay and sadness of his family and the local community. The elephant, not an orphan itself, didn’t have a history of trauma so why did it do this? Did the negative ET alliance have a hand in this? What actions could the staff, community and family take to optimally heal from this tragedy?”

The 24 month gestation period and resulting families are the epitome of the bond between mother and offspring. Herd bonding is based on a wide range of emotions; from showing love to anger and grieving, and are so playful. Calves are very endearing. Elephants’ legendary memories, human-like lifespans and range of emotions perhaps explains why human-elephant hybrids are on the roster of Asian deities. Do they have individual souls? Do they experience karma? Could Creator give a tutorial on their creation and benefits for human culture?”
