The New York Times reported that a Secret Service whistleblower, who had provided security for prior Donald Trump golf outings in Palm Beach, Florida, said that during the recent assassination attempt, protocol was not followed as agents were not posted well in advance at known weak spots along the fence, where the perpetrator had been hiding for 12 hours.
