My client has had a series of worsening symptoms that started three years ago when he undertook regular meditation practice to “create energy balls” because of his stressful lifestyle. At first, his head started spinning on its own, which he thought must be a kundalini experience from increased energy flow. Now, in addition to head turns, head nods, and other bodily movements happening on their own, something is starting to send him thoughts. These can be malevolent, in addition to causing impulsive self-harm, such as trying to punch him with his own fist, taking control of his body when he least expects it.
