There is a problem of the companion animal run amok. Feral cats are actually a HUGE problem in many parts of the world today. Feral and domestic cats kill 1.3–4.0 billion birds and 6.3–22.3 billion mammals annually. Do the interlopers have any culpability for this? Or is this a wholly human-created problem?
