At latest report, college campus protests in support of Hamas and menacing Israel with accusations of genocidal conduct in Gaza, have spread to 44 campuses in 24 states across the country. The demonstrations seem well-organized, highly charged, and police have commented that in some cases at least, almost half the protesters are not students at those campuses. The demonstrations are becoming increasingly violence-prone. Of the demonstrators at George Washington University who were arrested recently for fighting with police, only a third were actual students. Jewish students are being confronted and menaced.
