The question is, where there is sentience, is there also an ego, or the potential for ego? If so, it appears this would be true for both humans and angels, and in fact all sentient beings; and while the choice can be influenced by others, it cannot be MADE by others. Would that extend to the realm of prayer as well? In other words, no matter how much we pray for God to change someone’s attitude, this will remain something God will always refuse to do in a free will environment. So the divine can change things that influence the choice, but not the choice itself.
