The US military conducted a surprise strike at a military base in Venezuela where President Maduro was housed. He and his wife were taken prisoner and transported to New York where Maduro appeared in court, charged with narco-trafficking. There has been much international consternation about the legality of this intrusion. In addition, it is shaking up geopolitical forces as the US now controls the Venezuelan oil supply and is denying sales to Russia and China. Was this move just a law enforcement operation to stop drug smuggling harmful to US citizens, as the US maintains, or is it serving deeper, more sinister motives of the interlopers?

The comments come as President Trump sharpens his rhetoric around acquiring Greenland, reviving and expanding a proposal he first floated in 2019 amid rising tensions with Russia and China in the Arctic.” Is this just political rhetoric in standing up to Trump which will stabilize things, or is there a deliberate plan underway to further inflame anti-U.S. sentiment by having the U.S. move on Greenland?

A recent paper describes health data from 8,407,849 citizens of South Korea, comparing those within one year of receiving shots for Covid-19 with a group never receiving shots. There were statistically significant increases in overall cancer risk and for six types of cancer: thyroid, gastric, colorectal, lung, breast, and prostate. Risk of cancer was greater with both mRNA vaccines (thyroid, colorectal, lung, and breast cancer) and cDNA vaccines (thyroid, gastric, colorectal, lung, and prostate cancers). Administration of booster shots was associated with increased risk of three cancers (gastric, pancreatic, and leukemia). [Kim et al. Biomarker Research 13:114, 2025.] Are these data accurately reflecting a real risk from receiving such shots? Is the increased risk of cancer despite the type of vaccine, pointing to something sinister which is not the vaccine technology itself being dangerous?

He called the fire department. I don’t know if they detected gas. They opened a window and thought it was fine and they were only there a few minutes. Authorities said earlier that investigators would be looking into factors including whether material on the exterior walls of high-rise buildings met fire resistance standards, as the rapid spread of the fire was unusual…Officials said the fire started on the external scaffolding of one of the buildings, a 32-storey tower, and later spread to inside the building and then to nearby buildings, likely aided by windy conditions…The housing complex consisted of eight buildings with almost 2,000 apartments housing about 4,800 residents, including many elderly people. It was built in the 1980s and had recently been undergoing a major renovation. Was this tragedy accidental, caused by human arson, or something more deeply sinister?
