He was observed by a reporter to leave the spot every couple of hours to make a call at a payphone. He was approached and asked who he was calling. Turned out it was his stockbroker. He confessed he made approximately $60,000 a year panhandling (in the 1980s when $60,000 was an above-average income) and had a very successful investment portfolio. When challenged, he failed to see any moral dilemma in what he was doing, but in managing a successful stock portfolio, he was clearly capable of performing successfully in a more traditional occupation. What are the karmic implications of that man’s occupational choice?ClosedNicola asked 5 years ago • Karma448 views0 answers0 votesThose wanting to be good samaritans would decline if they knew they were simply fattening someone’s portfolio and of course most panhandlers are truly homeless and in need of assistance. Yet the desire not to be taken advantage of is strong in most people and presents a genuine moral conflict for many. What advice can Creator give to those wanting to help the truly needy? When one gives to a beggar, does the REAL condition of the recipient have any bearing on the good karma earned by the donor?ClosedNicola asked 5 years ago • Karma425 views0 answers0 votesA worker in a large city can run an obstacle course of multiple panhandlers twice a day going to and from the office. Many times both people will pretend not to recognize the other, which can reach heights of absurdity as this can go on for years. The career panhandlers are daily intruding on the privacy of the commuters who simply want to be left alone in peace and quiet but are constantly exposed to this twice a day for years. As no one with an average salary can possibly give to everyone asking them daily for handouts, what are the karmic implications of ignoring such recurring pleas? How can Creator help the simple commuter make a moral choice?ClosedNicola asked 5 years ago • Karma434 views0 answers0 votes“Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.” When it comes to the homeless, are we collectively failing to teach them how to fish?ClosedNicola asked 5 years ago • Karma432 views0 answers0 votesA century ago, it was mostly charities and churches that were looked to to provide help for those in need. Today many look to governments to provide help for the needy and many are failing to do an adequate job. Was having the governments step in to help a mixed motive undertaking? Was the goal to create further distance between the donors and the recipients?ClosedNicola asked 5 years ago • Karma394 views0 answers0 votesWhat is Creator’s perspective on the welfare state?ClosedNicola asked 5 years ago • Karma479 views0 answers0 votesHow can prayer and the Lightworker Healing Protocol help to someday fully resolve the problem of homelessness?ClosedNicola asked 5 years ago • Karma415 views0 answers0 votesA woman writes: “I’m 43 and I feel trapped and possessed at times. I’m lost, suicidal and everything I do is stopped from progressing somehow. No matter how hard I try. My mind feels totally blocked and my brain feels like it can’t work as it should. I do feel presences in my life, relationships are impossible, and I’m extremely lonely as a result. If I take two steps forward, I end up 5 steps backward like I’m not allowed to live!! Weird: my brother’s life is identical, addictions, impossible to get a life partner, unmarried, unemployed, ridiculed, suicidal, and demonic experiences. It is impossible for two people to have exactly the same life experiences and issues. Please help in any way you can as I’m down and out. Do I have a medical condition, or is it my imagination, or is it negative entities? I’m in South Africa and was hoping for a diagnosis and any assistance? This has been going on for us both since age 18 or so…” What can we tell her?ClosedNicola asked 5 years ago • Karma447 views0 answers0 votesCan you tell us what truly happened with my client [name withheld] when she was desperately lonely and missing her mother who died young, and asked Creator for a sign she at least was being heard, and felt something move the bed, as if someone sat down beside her?ClosedNicola asked 6 years ago • Human Light Beings730 views0 answers0 votes
