There is the belief quotient of the worthiness of the self to engage with and make solicitations of the divine. And finally, there is the question of focus, attentiveness, and concentration brought to bear in the saying of a prayer or prayers. This suggests that the “energetic reach” of prayer will vary widely from person to person, and even, when considering a single person only, from prayer to prayer. And so “energetic reach” would appear to be an average over time, and never a constant value for a single person praying.
