I had a thought recently that the biblical description in Genesis of Earth’s creation in 6 days might possibly have fostered a misunderstanding. Could it be that the account in Genesis is really describing the repositioning of Earth from its original orbit around what became a dead star, and then recovering the water from safekeeping on Tiamat, followed by commencing with the repopulation of the Earth with life forms that were already present on other worlds?
