She had written these over a course of years, possibly throughout her whole life. She started these letters when I was 4 years old. I’m now nearly 40, but I didn’t start receiving them until 3 years ago, when I met her son. He has become a good friend of mine, although he can be overbearing and overprotective of me. In the letters, his mum writes that he’s my ‘protector’ and the reason for the letters is for him to help me wherever possible and to stop me from suicide. She wrote that I suffered from depression, amongst other things. She’s right about depression, but I didn’t and have never felt suicidal. She states that he is the way he is with me, because it has been put in his genetic makeup, to protect me at all costs. She says that I’m her daughter from another realm and that I’ve had many past lives with her. What I don’t understand is, if we’re all from Creator, then what’s this other realm she’s referring to? I just really need the truth. I also asked the divine realm to coach my deep subconscious on how it could ask for those enhancements on its own. Actually, in doing that prayer, I was very heartfelt and impassioned about getting relief for the anxiety that was immobilizing me from doing some very important tasks. I supposed that my deep subconscious was causing this anxiety, and so I really wanted to find a way to get some help for it, so it could redirect its efforts away from trying to get my attention, to seeking help and healing from the divine realm. So in my prayer, which was fairly long and spoken free-form, I asked for a number of things, and one of them was something like this: I asked Creator to give a message to my deep subconscious, first to tell it that I love it very much; that when it tries to get my attention by causing anxiety, this is only making our problems worse; that instead, to please ask our higher self to allow more gifts and skills to be brought into it from our larger soul, to help it learn how to get more help with the problems it sees; and that this would make everything better for both of us. I also asked Creator and my higher self to give ongoing attention to my deep subconscious, to work very diligently toward teaching it and coaching it on how to ask for these skills and gifts from our larger soul, and also to continue guiding it on how it could ask for healing for any problems that might come up to bother it. Within about a day after that prayer, I had a major shift in my entire experience of my body. The serious anxiety was gone, and it hasn’t come back since then. So perhaps my higher self actually stepped in and began acting as an ongoing coach to my deep subconscious, in which case perhaps my higher self began serving as the actual source of the skills and gifts I asked to be brought into my deep subconscious from my larger soul. He was not interested in providing money for booze and cigarettes. A woman on the street was shrieking “HELP ME! I’M HUNGRY!” Our would-be good samaritan offered to take her right then and there and buy her a sandwich. She declined and asked for money instead. He said, “no” and repeated his offer. This went back and forth for a couple rounds, but he stuck to his offer and refused to give her money. Suddenly she just “blew up” at him, swearing at him and telling him where to go (in so many words). Who was wrong here? A fixture almost as much as the light post he leaned against. Turned out, he wasn’t truly homeless at all, and shared a rather expensive apartment with another career panhandler. When asked about the apparent hypocrisy, he said simply that he rented rather than owned, so he wasn’t really lying. The problem is this individual and his partner help to reinforce the impression that many if not most homeless were not in the dire straits they appear to be in. He confessed he made approximately $60,000 a year panhandling (in the 1980s when $60,000 was an above-average income) and had a very successful investment portfolio. When challenged, he failed to see any moral dilemma in what he was doing, but in managing a successful stock portfolio, he was clearly capable of performing successfully in a more traditional occupation.
