A viewer asks: “I bought my significant other a cat last year. The cat is pretty well behaved but is extremely timid, and afraid. I have even seen her jump at the sight of herself. I got her as a kitten, so she has never experienced any physical abuse or harm. I have suspected maybe karma, heightened sensitivity or even spirit meddlers tormenting her? Scores of people have died in multiple, massive, high-wind-blown fires spreading over the island of Maui, which has suffered a recent drought. The governor called the damage in the tourist center of Lahaina “shocking” and “like a bomb went off.” While the official cause of the fires is unknown, other than that the high winds were coming from Hurricane Dora, 500 miles to the south, many are blaming the catastrophe on climate change as the cause, just like the wildfires in California and elsewhere around the world.
