How accurate and reliable is the May 2024 paper in the journal Nature Medicine claiming that the presence of two copies of the APOE4 gene significantly increases the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease through mechanisms involving gene dose dependent risk, toxic effects, loss of protective functions, and impact on amyloid pathology? This research suggests the APOE4 gene is a genetic cause of this disease, not merely a risk factor indication. Although these findings are disputed, is this research connected to the recently approved Alzheimer’s treatment Leqembi from Eisai and Biogen, a drug that removes amyloid from the brain? At latest report, college campus protests in support of Hamas and menacing Israel with accusations of genocidal conduct in Gaza, have spread to 44 campuses in 24 states across the country. The demonstrations seem well-organized, highly charged, and police have commented that in some cases at least, almost half the protesters are not students at those campuses. The demonstrations are becoming increasingly violence-prone. Of the demonstrators at George Washington University who were arrested recently for fighting with police, only a third were actual students. Jewish students are being confronted and menaced. What is behind this movement that includes not only anti-Israel and anti-Jewish rhetoric, but Anti-American chants as well?

A practitioner asks: “I have a question regarding the healing of my eldest daughter’s Lupus which she caught in 2018 after the long drawn-out birth of my grandson. In the early stages of the illness she would be hammered by Lupus symptoms at least once a month when she had her period but more often if other triggers were pulled such as sun exposure, when she could easily be ill in bed for extended periods of up to a week. In 2020 I started learning about GetWisdom and by 2021 I was doing protocols for her. I noticed an improvement very quickly as she no longer systematically displayed symptoms with her period and after about 2 years her Lupus was only related to sun exposure and I was satisfied with the steady progress. Her progress seems to have slowed since the beginning of the year and she still gets debilitating symptoms upon sun exposure.
