About 25 years ago, I met (by “accident”) an NHL player, and he asked me to “help him score 50 goals” (in the season) which I did! It got me into Wicca, and although I was quite naive at the time, I’ve never looked back. Seems very timely on this Day of the Dead/All Saints Day.” Was she truly able to do this, and if so, through what power? Was this a positive application of Wicca?
Nicola Staff asked 3 years ago
This indeed was a positive application of Wicca. She was using her own spiritual power as she believed this was a spiritual process and a spiritual undertaking, and so this was acted on by divine realm and was not truly through what the Wiccans promote and designate as the strategy and conveyance of their desires. So she was successful in helping this athlete achieve his lofty goal. It is not entirely due to magic, so to speak, because the individual was talented and did belong in the NHL for that reason but, as you know, athletes come and go. Many are chosen and few reach heights to be among the greats. It is an elusive goal to reach such performance heights. Many try and few are successful. It is the occasional player who truly stands out. Receiving divine help can make the difference for such individuals and that was the case here.
