This is possible to ask for. The effectiveness of the request will depend on the practitioner using the Protocol for an outreach. Using the full Protocol you have put together is the most effective way to do this, rather than a simple prayer, for all the reasons you already know, that prayer has many ins and outs, and when invoked by a particular individual may have variable results because of their own limitations that may not be in their awareness. So to be more sure of the outcome, it is advisable to go to someone experienced in such matters, as is the case for all tasks demanding expertise. This is not a question of worth or a judgment, it is simply the way of things. Those with experience can do better than those without. There will be a wide variability depending on the family tree and the history, whether relatively untroubled or subject to many, many, sources of negativity where there may be large numbers of individuals who floundered because of poor understanding of making the transition, or having many, many, impairments making transition effectively difficult, and causing many to be trapped.
The light continues to do periodic outreaches, so there will be eventual rescue for all. It is still a great advantage for those who are aware of this dilemma to do an outreach rather than wait for the long-term solution, because that can indeed be a very long time. There are individuals still earthbound after hundreds of years following their passing. This is not because the light is not attempting to reach them, it is because of their state of being and their choices. They would be more readily rescued with healing coming from the human side. That is the virtue of the Protocol and would be a great blessing to have implemented.
