They cannot find and harvest soul fragments as these are always embedded within consciousness already, so in effect they are taken. So there can be some exchange of energies under appropriate circumstances, but they cannot commandeer and take away a fragment. They can only tap it and siphon some energy under certain conditions. But when the fragments are within a human host, which is most often the case, there is abundant additional energy available for them to extract. The soul fragments themselves are of a minor interest because their energy is much less than the whole. There can be fragments left in locations and the exchange with Gaia in various ways does happen, but the energy this represents in the fragments is not sufficiently great to provide spirit meddlers with what they need for their survival. So this is not something they seek out.
