DWQA QuestionsCategory: Coronavirus COVID-19Is the Omicron COVID-19 mutant more hazardous for young people and children, in terms of being more likely to produce symptomatic illness, hospitalizations, and death?

Here is something that will be noticed and likely to really raise the alarm bells. It is a more dangerous strain for the younger members of the population. But again, if they have been vaccinated there will be, for most, a significant enough reduction in the viral burden and its consequences to make the infection episode readily tolerated with minimal disruption and hazard, at least to survival, if not being symptom-free. So this will add great fear and propel the vaccination mandates forward to all ages, including infants, and this you know is in line with the purpose of the pandemic in the first place, to create a way to insert marker chips in as large a number of humans as possible, and what better way than to panic everyone with a viral pandemic that threatens literally to shut the world down without a medical answer to minimize the risks.
