DWQA QuestionsCategory: CreatorDo you punish people for their wrongdoing?
Karen Gore Staff asked 6 years ago
We never punish, we allow. And so any punishment is coming at the hands of the self or fellow human beings or another being intruding on their realm and causing that to happen. It is never from a divine source. To be sure, there are times when a request for help is made and we cannot answer because it would violate the individual’s own inner wishes or their choice in the first place to have an experience of negativity and suffering. And when that is the focus and is believed to be needed in some way or inevitable in some way, we honor the person’s choosing to have that happen and will stand aside and allow them to continue on their way. That is simply letting people be themselves. If that is a punishment, it is your doing and not ours.
