What about raccoons? What world did they originate from, and what was the karmic need necessitating their creation and introduction to that world? Was there an intelligent species responsible for the karmic need?

These are from the world of Anunnaki and they were introduced as a counterbalance to other pest animals that were a karmic match to the wrongdoing and negativity exhibited by these beings. They are a relic of a bygone era in that world but they maintain many such species in biologic preserves to have them as a reference point and a potentially useful bioweapon, so they were readily available to be repurposed when introduced to the human realm as a pest animal that would compete for human food and even to invade their dwellings and cause harm. So they were brought here purposefully to inflict their behaviors on human culture.
