These doses seem quite high but that is because the recommended daily allowances are woefully inadequate for almost everyone. That is no accident but is engineered to happen as a way of constraining human help. Many of the official guideline recommendations are manipulated to be subpar and underserve the general public. This is a function of the ongoing degradation of human culture across the board. It is a small thing, but one which builds over time. Having a chronically inadequate diet is a major detractor from well-being and longevity, both. Vitamins, in particular, are key catalysts for many health maintenance pathways and prevention, through maintaining a good balance from degradative influences that occur increasingly when the normal constituents for healthy, striving, cell function are inadequate in amount or expression. So these levels are not only safe but advantageous and that is the point of the exercise, to surmount this difficulty in a bold fashion, and is based on human experience apart from official pronouncements, thus bypassing the distortions and their inadequacies.
