First of all, it is a very highly risky thing to do from a legal perspective as it amounts to practicing medicine without a license which is illegal, frankly. There are many intangibles, including how clients themselves might react over time in being ultraconservative in avoiding medical interventions but then having to sit with uncertainty not knowing what is going on inside the body if it is left unaddressed and there are warning signs present, as in this case, in finding a possible abnormality of unknown nature.
