DWQA QuestionsCategory: Divinely Inspired MessengersJoel Osteen’s relentless optimism, and avoidance of any religious symbols like the cross, is suspiciously like the current corruption of other lightworkers. Is he still uncorrupted?

He is still uncorrupted, and this is an inner awareness, an inner knowing that he must have the broadest possible appeal, and to not align himself with the elements of biblical teaching that are dark and cause fear in people. He himself knows intuitively those messages are untrue and therefore, avoids them in his ministry. This is a sign of divine alignment rather than lacking depth as many have criticized him to represent a partial truth—the “Religion Light” label from many who are of the sterner variety and hew to the literal truth of the Bible in its entirety. This is what makes Osteen special—that he can navigate the treacherous waters here to promote the teachings of Jesus and the promotion of Bible-based churches, but without turning to the fire and brimstone, nor the symbol of the cross, which is the logo of the Extraterrestrial Alliance’s triumph over this divine prophet, as a symbol to rally around for his followers. You can judge the value of this approach by his success in attracting people. This indeed is what people are thirsty for—a Bible without the blood, without the sacrifice of being viewed as a sinner and lesser being by the Almighty and having to somehow work one’s way back up to an acceptable status, and not knowing if that is even possible. People rightly recoil from such a condemnation and his approach is very appealing because he avoids those pitfalls. It is also the case that his attitude is reinforced by the divine realm and that is what is reaching the minds and hearts in parallel as he speaks. We are going into the hearts of all who listen to him to give support and encouragement from within, and this helps him be so effective.
