That started last year in January. She feels she got COVID-19 at that time and it was followed by a series of symptoms. She said she is aware that long COVID affects the liver, and the liver can affect the thyroid. What is truly going on? I know that chronic viral infections are a cause of hypothyroidism, but what about hyperthyroid symptoms?
