In a recent show on superstitions, Creator said, “The widespread practice of putting salt at locations, at the borders around a location, as in the four corners of a room of a home to create a kind of sanctuary, might be self-reassuring as a ritual but that is only a self-soothing gesture and not a significant deterrent in any way to spirits and what they can do.” Creator’s use of the word “significant” is noted because that implies that salt might have some properties that are at least disagreeable to dark spirits? Cavendish writes, “All devils are supposed to detest (salt) and no salt should be used in ceremonies designed to attract them. Salt is anti-demonic because it is a preservative. Demons are creatures which corrupt and destroy. Anything that has preservative qualities (including spices) is contrary to their nature, and disagreeable to them.” So while perhaps not a hard deterrent, do dark spirits find salt and spices to be “disagreeable to them?” What can Creator tell us?

I am getting phone calls from an inmate at the county correctional facility. I think it might be the young schizophrenic woman I try to avoid talking with who keeps calling me. I always do healing for her, as you know, but don’t want personal interactions. I can’t take personal responsibility for her welfare given her volatile mental state. Am I failing her in not following up with her calls?
