The Bible in 2 Corinthians 5:10 promises: “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.” Christians tend to view this as a one time only event, a “final judgment.” But testimony from near-death experiences suggests Christ does sometimes participate in life reviews, not so much in a judgmental capacity, but guidance capacity. The Bible in John 14:3 promises: “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” This passage suggests something truly NEW as opposed to the heaven that one goes to between lifetimes.
