A client asks: “During a particularly challenging time at work when I was seriously considering resigning (but didn’t know what other work I could or should do!), a colleague (a faithful Christian) shared with me that she had received a message from “God” in relation to me and the message (forgive my terrible memory) was along the lines that “whilst I was looking/searching … I wasn’t there yet.” Was this a Divine message, and if so, can you please expand on what it/you were trying to tell me?”

This was indeed a divine message conveyed to you via the higher self of this individual to speak these words in your presence without realizing personally why they were doing so. And it was to give you some divine encouragement that there were greater possibilities in store and you needed to keep going and cultivate a greater involvement and awareness that you are not done, that there are new things to take on, new challenges and new possibilities as well in what you might experience. This happens frequently with human beings who may become too complacent and settle for less thinking they have done all they can, they have reached as far as they are able and may simply give in and give up and accept their lot in life and live with the limitations that it represents. Through divine inspiration, people can sometimes be motivated to go far beyond the plateau they might reach left to their own devices alone. This is allowable under the rules of engagement if the people have any divine awareness and belief in the divine, and even if they don’t, there can be some reminders sent their way of greater possibilities that the truth of the divine is an actuality, not as a way of manipulating the mind and controlling their thoughts or instilling a belief within them, but simply a reminder of their origin and that can trigger an inner knowing there is something missing, and if they go looking may find it, and this can restart a person on a path of new learning and growth to re-engage with life in a way that will lead to greater spiritual evolution and attainment. That was the purpose of the message.
