I wondered if everything went well because I had been praying for our family to have safe trips in their travels this summer, or was it just pure luck?”

You were indeed under divine oversight because of your prayer work. That will always make things go more smoothly. It might be in small ways or large, and you will not know what could have been different without that divine assistance, but there is no need to be monitoring this to get feedback about everything. We have said before a number of times that when you reach out and partner with us in a truly meaningful way, it will make all of your life better in ways you will notice, but you will never be sure of our involvement as we work in the background.
