DWQA QuestionsCategory: Human PotentialA student asks: “Since all beings, all life, is a unique creation with unique attributes at the soul level, it seems the task of learning to love the self, is finding a way to love those attributes. Aren’t we kind of stuck with those attributes forever?”

This is viewing things from the vantage point of having a glass half-empty. When we see everyone as having a glass half-full, all have potential. All have unrealized potential, all have room for growth and expansion far beyond the current levels—so yes, there are differences among individuals, but all can find worth, all can find value in themselves, all can find ways to have a life of purpose and to make extraordinary gains and contributions of all kinds to the plan of Creator for the expansion and spread of love through the universe. There are many ways of being satisfied, many ways of being fulfilled. Keep in mind that humans are the least experienced at life at the moment because of their short tenure as divine human and their state of disconnection and limited awareness of all of their life experience, which indeed is vast, and in the case of old souls extends to before the creation of the current universe. When you think of attributes you are thinking like a human with the limited repertoire and the limited capability because of the inherent limitations of physical human, restricted by their physicality from doing only what their hands and fingers, toes, and other organs allow, and the limited intellectual capacity of their current minds, not to mention the vagaries of dealing with human society and the need of fulfilling the animal instincts within, alongside more lofty pursuits that may be a soul attribute but will likely not find a high-level expression under human conditions that are currently present. Each soul is so much more vast than any human—even the greatest of humans who have lived, that all will have many reasons for joy in seeing their desires play out in reality again and again. There will be no one who falls far short because while different, all are equal in having a vast capability and reach. It is as though all are master craftsman virtuosos, artistically great thinkers and advanced scientists and explorers with keen powers of observation and total recall of everything they experience, and everything they have learned heretofore, and the ability to tap into every source of knowledge beyond those. This is a different kind of existence than human can envision— so there is no yardstick in your awareness to truly appreciate human potential in the context of your question. Humans are lucky if they have a single talent sufficient to rise above average in a way that is meaningful, and in particular, useful for earning a living or being an avocation, bringing great pleasure and satisfaction to provide an outlet for inner yearnings beyond the mundane daily work they must do to provide the financial support needed for their maintenance. That is not true on a light being level. All have many, many talents, any one of which will give them the potential for greatness and a life of purpose bringing tremendous joy. Most human limitations are not soul limitations—they are the constraints imposed by many lifetimes of extreme trauma and life circumstances where they are disadvantaged in having early training, and education, and exposure to possibilities and many disincentives to make them give up and vastly underreach even their human potential. This is no basis for projecting what can happen in the future with an existence free of all such constraints.
