A student asks: “Why is my daughter having such a strong feeling of longing (until tears) about a place of giant trees and floating islands?”

This is an impression of another world she has visited. It is a place of great meaning for her. She is here as a volunteer to help humanity through a very difficult period and is true of many Starseeds. So she has strong ties to her origins still and that is to be expected. It is not anything to worry about. It is simply that she has roots and has deep feelings for her past and the many friends and loved ones she has ties to from all of her doings. You are included in this, and very special as well, particularly because the stakes are so high for what is happening right now with humanity and is a project of great meaning for her. So this is natural for her to have such remembrances and feelings. She will be able to manage this and will not be impaired unduly.
