DWQA QuestionsCategory: PrayerA student writes: “In the area where I live there are no nearby ponds or lakes where frogs and toads can live and thrive. As a matter of fact, I have never seen frogs in my neighborhood since I moved here 8 years ago. One of the problems we have here are the nasty flies, especially during the rainy season. To my surprise, not a long time ago I began to hear in the plants around my porch, a frog noise, right in the area where the flies concentrate and begin to buzz at around sunset. My first thought about the newcomer little green frog was how did he make it to my house? I could never figure that out, but was content that at least the frog has plants to live with and plenty of flies to feed from. I now wonder if that was a Divine intervention to help reduce the fly population around my house.” Is he correct?

He is correct and the reason is that he is seeing truth here. It is not just an educated guess from all he has come to learn about the divine realm from your teachings as well as his background in spiritual matters. This is an illustration of a divine intervention being done not only for him but for many people in this region plagued by flies and the hazards they represent. So we are responding to prayer requests for having life improvements that may not all be focused on the fly problem per se but general well-being, health, freedom from worry, and happiness. All such prayers can be repurposed to deal with a scourge of this kind because, directly or indirectly, the problem of pests can spiral into something quite meaningful and serious. So this can be a great blessing as an outcome from a general prayer request made perhaps without this problem in mind specifically. Most people would not guess that you can ask the Almighty to eliminate flies from your yard. This can, in fact, be asked of the divine and assistance will be given according to the normal rules of engagement about belief quotient needed, and so on. So to assist with such matters, we always prefer a natural biological solution whenever possible because that is in keeping with Earth energies and is often the safest as well as the best strategy to use and will not be using one scourge to counter another. This is often what humans try and then see they have created a bigger problem, fighting fire with fire, so to speak. So bringing in harmless creatures like frogs is a very effective and ecologically sound approach that can be used for this type of pest control.
