This is simply idiosyncratic behavior. The dog is associating the act of elimination with prior circumstances when he was attacked suddenly in a somewhat compromising position, being distracted by a call of nature, so to speak. This is not a serious matter, nor is it in need of a healing intervention by conventional veterinary care.
