DWQA QuestionsCategory: Extraterrestrial Corruption of Human InstitutionsA viewer asks: “Is there any value in voting?”
Nicola Staff asked 3 years ago
We have spoken about this before, that voting has karmic consequences as well as non-voting. When people are living within a territory or nation that has a governing body elected by the citizens, any policies, laws under consideration, and choice of candidates for various political offices in the government are the responsibility of each citizen to weigh in. Even though many are voting in ignorance, not realizing their candidates are corrupted, at least they are attempting to do their duty as citizens. Someone who understands the corruption but chooses to not participate at all may well be incurring a greater karmic penalty. Even though they cannot make things perfect through voting alone, there is usually a lesser of evils in the choices. If that is the best one can do, it is still worth doing from a karmic standpoint.
