We do, indeed, recommend the sauna as a health-promoting measure. There is much science attesting to the detox mechanisms of the body being triggered by elevated temperature, so this can become a purposeful period of relaxation coupled with cleansing on a biochemical level. We see both use of infrared and the traditional Finnish approach as capable of being effective, and more a matter of personal choice as products of differing cultures and perspectives having the same basic goal in mind.
