DWQA QuestionsCategory: Healing ModalitiesA viewer asks: “Recently I started taking a sulforaphane supplement by the name of Broq and within two weeks I noticed surprising benefits. My energy levels have been slightly elevated along with my mood, my hair shedding has returned to normal levels and my complexion has improved. Does sulforaphane have anti-viral properties or is the sulforaphane working somewhere downstream to mitigate symptoms and damage caused by chronic viral infections? Can sulforaphane provide broad benefits to a majority of people by protecting against various forms of cancer, prevent cardiovascular disease, reduce symptoms of autism, and slow aging or are these claims exaggerations?”

This supplement does have beneficial properties of many kinds, including antiviral activity. Whether it will help a particular individual is a complex situation involving many, many, variables. Each situation is different. After all, given the depths of the karmic history and its contribution to ongoing issues, the makeup within the person considering their genetic endowment, and their vulnerability from the consequences of all that is going on and has taken place to get problems going, there will be huge variability as well concerning how effectively we can participate in making improvements, especially in augmenting the potential capabilities of this supplement to even have an impact at all. We see this supplement as being useful for some more than others. As such, it is not a powerful universal answer.
