DWQA QuestionsCategory: Coronavirus COVID-19A viewer asks: “Should vaccinated people avoid flying, and for how long should they wait before resuming? Such an issue would suggest getting a booster shot will only enhance the risk, and lengthen the time people should avoid flying?”

We would not say that flying should be avoided universally by those vaccinated, but anyone who has developed symptoms consistent with a clotting problem need to be extra careful if they have a booster shot of any kind. But keep in mind the trade-off is to be totally vulnerable in the event of an actual infection. So to have some mild symptoms that resolve is the lesser of evils compared to fighting for one's life on a respirator and having a significant chance of death at the hands of the virus without any prior protection in the form of immunity.
