DWQA QuestionsCategory: Physical UniverseA viewer asks: “Were we initially created to be more like the animals, almost impervious to cold, but have lost much of that resilience due to manipulations of our DNA?”

This is not the case. It was never an intention to create a human being impervious to the environment. That would, in fact, thwart having to cope with the challenges and risks of a possibly hostile environment as a learning opportunity. Despite the pain and suffering from such adversity, the gains are greater than the loss in learning how to deal with difficulty and adding to your character from strengthening in many ways. This is part of the logic and benefit of the physical plane, physical vulnerability comes along with that reality, and it has been a tremendous teacher in learning how to deal with and overcome suffering.
