Your speculations here are valid and significant. It is very much the case that if your mother had been on her own she would likely have perished, so having her houseguest was a godsend, literally, that was foreseen to be needed as things were coming to a head physically with the aneurysm issue and it was decided there was a benefit to multiple people for your mother to survive this episode and this was assisted by divine intervention in this fashion.
