If it is a light being such as a fallen angelic, the channeler can challenge the being directly, and observe the response, and record what happens—that will work just fine. But a physical extraterrestrial may dodge the question in defending itself and will have more means to do so. So it is safer to go through the divine realm entirely "offline," so to speak, by talking to Creator, which is shielded and will not be understood or detected by anyone you are communicating with intuitively.
