DWQA QuestionsCategory: PrayerAside from the requirements of a sufficient belief quotient in the divine, and belief in the self, what are some common reasons prayers go unanswered?

There are many prayers that are ill-considered in some way or another. Sometimes a prayer is offered for a cause that is so large in scope, the power of one individual cannot truly make a huge difference. This does not mean prayer is futile, only that there is a need for people to come together and be in harmony and act in unison at times, especially when there is a big project to take on and there are many needs to be met involving multiple people. There are many prayers said for others at times of calamity or natural disaster. This is always a good idea to do because there will always be benefits. It is just that the individual contribution may be modest on its own, but that does not diminish its integral importance because the whole is only the sum of its parts. Those parts had to be offered up and become a part of the total energy in order to have a sufficient energy behind the intention to allow the Divine to step in. It is no different than the election of a new leader—if everyone stays home, it will not happen. There is some point at which each person has an influence, and while the individual contribution may be lost in only considering the aggregate contribution, each has importance. This is more the case with prayer than with voting because, in the case of the votes, an increment of one vote could switch the outcome and while this is true with respect to prayer requests, what happens will be in proportion to the total turnout. So in that respect, everyone who in effect is voting for a better outcome for someone or something is actually creating an equal portion, so all have standing and their contributions go on record and will count. This is also pointing to another ongoing issue that many times repeated prayers are needed. In a difficult situation, one prayer may not be enough to get the job done. It may begin to shift things but then more prayers are needed to complete the work. This will be hard to know in advance but speaks to the issue of praying early and often when you know there is a need for divine help for oneself or others. Such actions are never wasted because the energy always goes to someone in need and can be repurposed to make that happen by the divine realm. There are many prayers that are based on false assumptions and misinterpretations of the reason for things and why prayers are needed in the first place. Many prayers are based on a false perception of something being wrong or seeing a situation in a way that is inaccurate and asking for something to be corrected that is not truly the problem. So the problem goes unaddressed because the prayer failed to hit the true target. Most people have unrealistic expectations of what the Divine can do and even this sentence will strike many as odd and perhaps reflecting a false voice coming through. One of the greatest misconceptions about Creator is that we are all-knowing, all-seeing, all-powerful, and can right any wrong. While this is all true, it is a question of where and when we can carry out action on behalf of someone requesting our help. There are many, many rules of engagement to not interfere with human free agency and free will. This is hugely constraining because it leaves the responsibility for one’s life on the human involved. While we can provide a safety net, it is often only of the most rudimentary kind, ensuring the person continues living by receiving basic life support, a flow of energy, and a working consciousness to function in life at a basal level. Beyond that point, everything depends on the individual having the right outlook, having the right attitudes, the right beliefs, and confidence to make choices and act accordingly. When people turn to the Divine, it is often in a state of resignation and personal defeat where they have all but given up hope in something turning around and then must call on the Divine in a last-ditch effort to try to make something happen even though they may be skeptical of its feasibility. The more common situation is simply one of assuming that God knows all about the problem and will know how to take care of it and the request is all that is needed. This is a vast oversimplification, and leaves the human out of the equation largely, other than simply requesting a bailout. There are times when that is appropriate and times when it is not. If we see the request means coming in and overstepping the boundaries of free will, we must still stand aside and then the prayers will seem to be unanswered. What is often happening is the prayers are being answered, but the answer happens to be no. We cannot intrude where we are not wanted. We cannot override the choices people make to be weak or helpless or disconnected from the divine realm. So a prayerful intention on someone’s behalf by a believer may still fall short because to act on that person’s request means intruding on the recipient of the prayer. And so we may be unable to act in a particular situation. These are all complexities that the divine realm must consider and unravel to make the best choices in responding to a prayer and factor in all of the variables to treat people fairly and equitably, and within the rules of engagement, to respect their rights and privileges. All too often this means underserving them from the perspective of the person reaching out to us, who may simply want us to handle everything and take care of it, without realizing there are things that they could do that would enable us to act more effectively, and oftentimes a true partnership will accomplish much more than a passive turning to the Almighty to handle the problem. The largest area of difficulty causing a limitation in divine response to prayer requests is that in most cases, people who are suffering or seeing others suffer have very little understanding of the true nature of the problem, let alone its true origins or the best way to fix it. This lack of understanding in a deep sense, will also limit what the divine realm can bring to bear because humans are in charge and are expected to learn about their world and understand how to solve problems. If they are in a state of ignorance, the divine realm cannot simply provide a high-level deep healing because they are not asking for that to happen in a way that gives us permission. If they are looking for simple answers in a vague way, the divine response can only be superficial. This often puts the responsibility back on the shoulders of those praying for assistance, but there is a reason why that is ultimately a benefit because it is an incentive to learn and grow and apply oneself in the undertaking. This is what you have done in wanting to learn all about healing and putting together a description with the understanding why it is needed, with the description of as many possible sources of problems humans face, and what is truly needed to do repair, up to and including an understanding of how the divine realm goes about this. This is a superb example of what we are talking about. The task is not impossible and not beyond human reach. It may require participation by some who are special in the sense of having abilities to interface with us, to sort out possibilities, and get feedback, and so on. This has greatly helped you in putting together your Lightworker Healing Protocol, but others have done similar things. The main problem is very few people understand or appreciate how special the knowledge is or recognize its value because the origin is so unusual and unconventional. This is a great loss for all. Humanity needs to advance, and this is the way it will come about—through divine help—not solely human creativity on its own.
