DWQA QuestionsCategory: Human Lost Soul SpiritsDid the concept of purgatory arise from an awareness of the problem posed by people who die and their departing spirits becoming earthbound and unable to reach the higher realms?

This intuitive awareness of the plight of the lost souls, who leave the body upon physical death but cannot make a full transition to the divine realms successfully, has very much fueled the notion of purgatory and this has been described by many prophets through the ages. This is a real phenomenon, it is not a specific place, other than the holding place you know of where there is a large aggregate of earthbound human spirits that have been corralled by the Extraterrestrial Alliance to serve as a refueling depot for the spirit meddlers to recharge themselves at times.
